Every year a couple girlfriends and I make the drive out to Medina, NY to visit Cottage Gardens Daylilies. We would all tell you it is worth the visit. This year was sunny and warm, perfect for strolling around looking at the flowers. The daylily field is quite the site to see during the month of July. This year I bought the following four. Minstrel Boy, yes I know terrible name, but the flower is gorgeous.
We are a small mail-order nursery located in the Seattle, Washington area offering a selection of annuals, perennials, succulents, and trees. We started out in 2001 with only a handful of plant offerings, but our plant list has been growing steadily since then. Most of our plants are uncommon or unusual, and we try out new plant varieties every year. We were lucky to obtain seeds from England this year - from salvia collector Robin Middleton.
